Turbo Takedown returns to PokerStars.com
The very successful Turbo Takedown tournament is returning to PokerStars.com and will become a regular fixture in the monthly schedule.
Back in February German online player mombasi won $200,000 in the first Turbo Takedown tournament held at PokerStars.
The tournament format has players plunk down 5,000 Frequent Player Points for a chance to win a piece of a $1 million prize pool. Because it's a turbo event it doesn't take long to complete and in the last event the bubble burst in just two hours after the start of the tournament.
It's not impossible to cash in the event either with the player cap set at 12,000 and the top 4,000 places paying out. That's roughly one in three players being paid off.
The Turbo Takedown will take place on the last Sunday of every month at 2:30 p.m. ET starting May 25. Satellites for the event start just 10 FPPs and are running around the clock.
