Tucker aligns stars for Vegas charity poker tourney

When Trent Tucker comes to town, it's hard to ignore the hoopla. And on Feb. 15, the former NBA star will be shaking up Las Vegas with a celebrity poker tournament and party.

Tucker's Hoopology Celebrity Party is to take place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Vegas to raise money for charity and kick off All Star Weekend.

In a release, Tucker promises a star-studded celebrity poker event featuring the biggest names in the sports, poker, music and entertainment industries.

Those scheduled to sit in for a few hands of Hold'em include sports greats Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, B.J. Armstrong, Charles Oakley, poker pro Patrik Antonius and R&B producer Jimmy Jam Harris.

If you buy-in to the tournament, you are also invited to the Hard Rock's Body English nightclub to party with the celebrities.

The event is advertised as an exclusive $10,000 donation poker exhibition and party, with all proceeds going to the Trent Tucker Nonprofit Organization. The charity supports programming for middle-school aged at-risk youth.

For those who just want to see some live poker action and join in the VIP after party, tickets are available for $350 to view the tournament and $200 to attend the nightclub.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.hoopologycelebrityevents.com.
