Tournament Titan still looking for two players
By Sarah Polson
There's a $1 million prize pool just waiting to be played for at Titan Poker. All it takes is two more qualifiers and the Tournament Titan can finally be played out.
It's been nearly two months since the 18th player qualified for the Tournament Titan. Kenneth Eriksson from Helsinki, Finland, was the latest player to qualify back on Feb. 16.
Eriksson has only been waiting a couple months for the final two qualifying spots to be taken so the 20 players can duke it out for part of the $1 million prize pool.
You can only imagine how the time is wearing on Hou Kam's patience. The Australian, known as "asdfsmh" on the poker site, was the first qualifier for the tournament in September 2006.
Between the first and the 18th qualifiers, players from all over the world were qualifying on a fairly regular basis. They are:
- Hou Kam, Australia
- Franck Thimonier, France
- Simon Leetsaar, Sweden
- Jordi Bonell, Spain
- backeast, Canada
- Sol Bergren, Canada
- Mark Hoath, Australia
- Stephan Pallares, France
- Simon Csaba, Austria
- Thierry Barou, France
- Krisztian Kovacs, Hungary
- Yury Khyuppenen, Russia
- Ole Langvad, Denmark
- Sorel Mizzi, Canada
- Jorge Pla, Spain
- Wayne Gardiner, United Kingdom
- Tyler Kurtz, Canada
- Kenneth Eriksson, Finland
The 20 players who make it into the freeroll are guaranteed to walk away with at least $20,000, and the winner will receive $200,000 package that includes a seat in the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event and two World Poker Tour events.
All it takes to win your way into the freeroll is making the final table of participating multi-table tournaments three times in a row.
The string of wins must be consecutive and can be at the same daily tournament over consecutive days from three different tournaments.
