Titan Poker sends 15 to Pokerface 2007
By Erik Sylven
Players from all over the world will be representing Titan Poker in the Pokerface 2007 main event, starting May 13. The winner of the event will get a full sponsorship for a year, including $100,000 for tournament buy-ins around the world.
The Pokerface 2007 main event has a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool, and 15 players who have qualified through Titan Poker will get a shot at becoming a full-time poker pro for a year.
The first prize package includes tournament buy-ins around the world worth $100,000, travel expenses amounting to $30,000 and a salary of about $70,000.
Titan Poker's Pokerface team has members from a number of different countries, including Spain, Germany, Canada, France and the Netherlands.
One of the qualifiers, Ian Wenston from Scotland, is very excited about the trip to the gambling centre of the world.
"I am paying only $50 for my first poker trip to Vegas! Thank you again, Titan Poker," Ian Wenston said in a press release from the poker site.
Aside from the $200,000 first prize, each of the nine final table contestants will be awarded a $12,500 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event package, and every four players in the tournaments will be handed one WSOP package.
