Titan Poker offers free vacations
By Sarah Polson
Not all travel prizes won that poker sites offer are buy-ins to tournaments. Enticing as a seat at the felt may be, sometimes you just want to kick back and relax. Titan Poker recognizes that with a promotion that gives players a chance to win the vacation of their dreams.
The Dream Vacation will send Titan Poker player to wherever they want in the world, without spending a single cent. All it takes is to make your first deposit at the poker site and you'll be eligible for the weekly Dream Vacation Freeroll.
The freeroll will award one $3,000 prize package each week, sending a lucky player on his or her dream vacation.
Players who win a dream vacation from Titan Poker set up the vacation through a travel agent, and then Titan Poker will pay the funds directly to the agent up to the maximum $3,000.
Any leftovers from the $3,000 after booking the travel package will be deposited into the winning player's account. The $3,000 can also be paid out in cash in the player's Titan Poker account in lieu of arranging a vacation package.
Vincent Schwiedeps from Germany used his Dream Vacation package to full advantage after he won. He took a 10-day trip to the Canary Islands where he stayed in a five-star hotel, relaxed on the beach and went on a Jeep safari trip.
Along with a dream vacation each week, Titan Poker also regularly sends players around the globe to major poker tournaments. The poker site will be sending players to the Aussie Millions, the South African Poker Open, the Irish Open and the World Poker Showdown in the Dominican Republic during 2008.
