GSN to air three-card poker tournament
By Sarah Polson
Once again the Game Show Network (GSN) will be bringing poker fans the Three-Card Poker National Championship Tournament. The 2006 event will air as two one-hour specials March 26 and April 2 at 10 p.m. (EDT).
The first episode will feature the qualifying rounds, the first semi-final and part of the second semi-final as more than 200 players work their way towards the three-player final table.
The second episode will feature the rest of the second semi-final, the third semi-final and the three-person table competing for the $1 million grand prize and a diamond and ruby-encrusted bracelet.
The episodes are hosted by Mark L. Walberg, from Temptation Island and Russian Roulett, and Danielle Demski, Miss Arizona 2004 and Miss USA finalist.(Pictured above)
The championship was sponsored by Shuffle Master, which hosted 20 regional Three-Card Poker tournaments throughout North America. After all was said and done, more than 200 qualified for the championship at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
This is the second year GSN has televised the Three-Card Poker National Championship.
