The week-long event will boast multiple daily tournaments, satellites, cash games, and single table tournaments.
The $8,000 main event boasts an estimated prize pool of $5 million, and will broadcast as part of the WPT for the third consecutive year.
Approximately 600 players are expected to participate in this year's main event, including some of the biggest names in poker. Currently, Joseph Hachem, Greg Raymer, Chris Moneymaker, and Tom McEvoy, and last year's PCA winner, John Gale, are slated to compete.
PokerStars.com will be awarding over $750,000 in free entries to its online players, with cash satellites to the main event starting at just $2.
Prize packages worth $12,000 are being given away in both cash games and Frequent Player Point freerolls, and include the main event buy-in, seven nights accommodation for two at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort, $1,000 credited to the winning player's poker account for spending money, and $1,000 towards a meal plan once in The Bahamas.
Interested players should click "Event" and then "WPT" in the PokerStars.com game lobby to play. Further information is available in the "Promotions" section.
