After splashing around at Full Tilt's lower stakes, Ashton “theASHMAN103” Griffin took on Observer84 heads up at the nosebleeds last night, making over $171k in the process.

Griffin's day started at $25/$50 No-Limit Hold'em against CourtStepper, but the match only lasted for five hands with griffin down $2,505.

After an hour-long break he returned to play high-stakes regular skjervoy at $50/$100 Pot-Limit Omaha, making over $21k in the 210-hand match.

For some reason, during the heads-up match with skjervoy, Griffin also sat at the absolute lowest stakes available, ¢1/¢2 NLHE, where he lost just under $3 in 26 hands.

Upping the blinds 1,000 times, Griffin moved on to a $100/$200 NLHE heads-up match against KTPOKP, losing just over $21k after 124 hands.

Down just $2,437, he then sat for the main event of the evening: Two tables of heads-up $300/$600 NLHE against Observer84. After 298 hands, and Griffin accumulating over $62k, the two agreed to step the game up to $500/$1,000, the highest stakes available on Full Tilt.

The nosebleed match lasted exactly one hour, with 345 hands hitting the books. The largest pot of the match, worth $238,995, went to Griffin, his bottom set holding up against Observer84's combination flush and straight draw.

The second largest pot was almost a mirror image of the largest. Worth just $1,000 less, Observer84 took the pot after his top-pair held up against Griffins flush draw and single overcard.

By the end of the second match, Griffin had made over $109k at $500/$1,000, putting him up $171,841 agsinst Observer84 on the night.

Last night's win puts Griffin up to almost $1.5 million profit on the year so far.
