Review

Master theorist David Sklansky teaches you how to think like a professional poker player. Whether your game is Texas Hold'em or Razz, this book will give you unique insights into the game of poker.

Sklansky covers many topics, and introduces the reader to various concepts that are applicable to any form of poker. His book will benefit the intermediate and advanced player more than the beginning player, but it is still a good read for any beginner who is serious about improving his game.

There are discussions on the value of deception, bluffing, raising, slow-playing, position, psychology, heads-up play, game theory, odds, the free card, semi-bluffing and many more topics. All in all, a very good book and a highly recommended read. 300 pages.
