The Sunday Scoop: A Home Felt Advantage

There appeared to be no place like home for Adam "Roothlus" Levy on another busy Sunday in online poker yesterday.

The UB pro managed a third place finish in UB's $200k Guaranteed tournament, raking in $18,500.

However, the $45,700 first-place prize was reserved for HHHUGO, who outlasted the entire field of 851.

Despite the Easter Sunday Holiday, the ever-growing PokerStars Sunday Million still managed to attract 9,749 players, creating a $1,949,800 prize pool.

While the Million often results in a chop at the top, this time around acechipchase took the title without benefit of a deal, banking $272,977.58 in the process.

Team PokerStars Pros were shut out of the big money there, but Victor Ramdin kept a little for the home side earning a fifth-place finish and $22,627.50 in the earlier $109 Rebuy.

The home cooking also paid dividends over on Full Tilt, where Red Pro and former CardPlayer Magazine columnist Adam Schoenfeld made the final table of the site's $750k Guaranteed event.

However, even Schoenfeld could not prevent 007Paghman from taking the title and its $138,453.10 first-place prize.

Other notable finishes by top pros Sunday included a sixth-place finish in The Sunday Mulligan on Full Tilt for Amit "amak316" Makhija, although TightRJ__RJ took the lion's share of the prize pool, winning the title and $55,924.00.
