2012-04-27where or from who can I get an answer to this situation. In an in house poker game a player whose turn it it to act, said out, then said wait a minute, and realizes that he has a straight flush and commences to raise. The player to his left has not acted yet,( has a queens full house ). 6 players at the table heard the player say "out" He denies it and said he doesn't remember. He took the pot plus royalties. After he said out and then wait a minute, the player to his left surmised that he overlooked his hand said," if you win this hand I will dispute it." He refused to relinquish the pot. I only wanted him to admit his miscall and he could keep the pot. To avoid future problems, we would like to set a rule. It was a 12 card board game, and we are all 70 or older.
OUT IS OUT. we play again on Monday. If you can respond before then, it would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanking you in advance,

2011-10-29I totally disagree, poker is a sport like any other. It should never be banned and there's nothing wrong with having it online. Banning poker online is against a free democracy of government by the people and for the people.
If we allow government to decide what we can and cannot enjoy, then democracy is coming to a quick end in the USA, and we're becoming a socialistic state that governs what people can and cannot do.

2009-04-21After reading half a dozen pro's books, watching hundreds of hours of poker on telivision and play thousands of hands online, I have reached the conclusion this is absolutley a game of chance and will recommend to my congressman to ban it for online play.
