In with the new, out with the old.

Earlier this week Bodog announced it was signing celebrated online player Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo, but apparently it's also dropping one of its Team Bodog pros.

Josh Arieh had been with Bodog for four years and was one of the team's most prominent members. Bodog released a statement that claims the departure was amicable.

"Bodog and Josh have mutually decided to part ways at the end of April," said spokesperson for Morris Mohawk Gaming Group, the Bodog brand licensee in North America.

"Josh had a great run as a member of Team Bodog over the past four years that included finishing third at the 2004 WSOP Main Event, winning his second WSOP bracelet in 2005 and making a number of final-table appearances at high-profile tournaments.

"We sincerely enjoyed our association with Josh and appreciate all that he brought to Team Bodog. We wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors, both at and away from the table."

Arieh first came to notoriety in the poker world when he won his first WSOP bracelet in 1999 in the $3,000 Limit Hold'em event.

In the past couple of years Arieh has been spending a little bit less time on the poker circuit and more time with his wife and three daughters in Atlanta, Ga.

Arieh's most recent cash was actually a first-place finish at the 2008 Wynn Classic in the $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event. He received $59,364 for his efforts.

Bodog has always kept its pro poker team smaller than some of the other major online poker rooms and now the team will be made up of just David Williams, Evelyn Ng, Jean-Robert Bellande and the newly added Bonomo. You can see some of Bodog's current deals on its promotions page.
