Svenska Spel joins up with Boss Media to launch poker site

Sweden's largest online gaming firm, Svenska Spel (Swedish Games Corp.), is planning to introduce poker to its gaming selection together with online gaming software provider Boss Media, also a Swedish company.

Svenska Spel has reportedly applied for a government license to offer an online poker room in conjunction with Boss Media, which will provide the poker room software and network. Government support is pending but if approved the two companies will begin working on the joint venture immediately.

Svenska Spel and Boss Media are currently involved in another business partnership centered on the gaming platform for svenskaspel.se, the Swedish giant's online gaming site.
