Review

This book is truly the poker bible. It was written in 1978 under the original title How I Made Over $1,000,000 Playing Poker by two-time (1976 and '77) World Champion Doyle Brunson.

The book contains sections on Draw Poker, Seven-Card Stud, Lowball, Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo Split, Limit Hold'em and No-Limit Hold'em. It offers a unique analysis of how to play No-Limit Texas Hold'em.

Even if you are only interested in reading about Texas Hold'em, this book is still a must-read. No other poker book on the market has the same approach to playing No-Limit Texas Hold'em as Brunson's. Filled with stories about players and the hands they played, it's highly entertaining as well.
