Sunday Million still draws big after week off
By Sarah Polson
A week off from the PokerStars.com Sunday Million didn't put a dent in the field of players this week. After a week off to host a World Series of Poker supersatellite, 1,482 returned to play this Sunday.
That was enough to boost the prize pool above the guaranteed amount to $1,482,000, and leave the first place winner with more than $300k.
So who took down the event this week? Mlagoo, known in the real world as Matthew LaGarde, who has also been spending time playing at the World Series of Poker the past few weeks.
With a 12th place finish in a $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event for more than $30,000 plus the $315,517 from the Sunday Millions, mlagoo's pockets should be pretty heavy with bankroll money now.
The final table results of the Sunday Million were:
| Place | Name | Prize |
| 1st | mlagoo | $315,517.80 |
| 2nd | thenut21 | $158,574 |
| 3rd | mrrain | $111,150 |
| 4th | THAY3R | $88,179 |
| 5th | loooser17 | $69,654 |
| 6th | jeffbeesdat | $52,611 |
| 7th | Spinvis | $37,050 |
| 8th | SvZff | $22,971 |
| 9th | faithless | $14,079 |
