Stockpile points tomorrow at Pacific Poker
Pacific Poker is giving you 24 hours to squeeze in as much Texas Hold'em, Stud and Omaha as you possibly can tomorrow, as Event 3 in the site's Survivor Showdown Series kicks into gear.
The deal is, players must compete in 50¢/$1 games or higher between 12 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. Thursday at the poker room.
For each showdown reached to determine the pot winner at the end of a betting round, you receive one point. If your points tally up to put you at the top of the day's leaderboard - or even in the top 50 - you win a portion of $12,500 in bonuses.
First place receives $200, second through fourth place earns $150, fifth to 10th place pays out $75, 11th to 26th place finishers cash $50, and $25 goes to players who end the day anywhere from 27th to 50th.
After tomorrow, only two events remain in the Pacific Poker Survivor Showdown Series; final events run April 24 and 28.
On each day, the poker room will update the leaderboard on the hour to monitor player standings.
There are a couple stipulations, however. To compete, you must deposit a minimum of $50 during event hours and you must be at a table with three or more active players.
