Steve Cyr to host 'The CEO Poker Show'
By Sarah Polson
"The CEO Poker Show" will be hosted by Steve Cyr, author of "Whale Hunt in the Desert," this fall. He will be providing commentary during the show along with a professional poker player that hasn't been announced yet.
Cyr is used to working with high profile players and is known as "the man" who brings people like Michael Jordan, Larry Flint, and others to casinos to gamble.
"We're excited about having a host who knows the power players involved in our project," says Maria Gomez, president of CEO Poker. "He is a natural. He understands the high roller culture and will have incredible poker stories and comments at key moments in the CEO Poker game."
The show will bring together CEOs to battle for the Chairman of Poker title as well as cash at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas Oct. 22 through 27. The CEOs participating in the competition will represent all areas of industry and give viewers a chance to see the men and women who run some of America's top companies and how they handle pressure.
