Star City announces $500,000 Poker Face-Off
In high-stakes poker, they say the straightest face wins. Australian company Star City is challenging you to put your best poker face up to the task, as they've announced a $500,000 Texas Hold'em face-off to take place Dec. 17.
With a $3,500 buy-in and a half million dollar prize pool, it's one of Australia's highest-stake events. The main event will be limited to 154 players as well, with 75 available for buy-in and 79 available to be won through satellite qualifiers.
Satellites are running three times a week until Dec. 13, with the main event slated to go Dec. 17 in the Poker Pit, on the main gaming floor at Star City.
