Ivan "vandir4rek" Soshnikov is the 2014 PokerStars SCOOP Main Event champion and $1m richer this morning after he topped an elite final table last night.

Soshnikov, who won the EPT Prague High Roller last fall, defeated the UK's Peter "Se7enTr3y" Akery heads-up after a three-way deal with Akery and unknown player Better C4ll.

Also making the final table and collecting six-figure scores from the two-day finale to the biggest online poker series in the world were Swede Martin "M.nosbocaJ" Jacobson and Canadian Ben "NeverScaredB" Wilinofsky.

Wilinofsky Not Scared, Pays Price

Wilinofsky in particular made a big impact on the final result as he turned down a deal when he was third in chips six-handed.

  • Se7enTr3y: deal anyone?
  • NeverScaredB: I think my balls might be too big to make a deal
  • NeverScaredB: lemme check
  • Grindation: ill look
  • NeverScaredB: yup, still gigantic
  • Se7enTr3y: lmao
  • Se7enTr3y: dont even want a look never?
  • NeverScaredB: not at the moment
  • Se7enTr3y: alright
  • Grindation: mans got heart
Ben Wilinofsky
NeverScared, pays the price.

Unfortunately for Wilinofsky he was the next one to go, losing a succession of hands and busting in sixth. The complete final-table results and payouts:

  • 2. Peter "Se7enTr3y" Akery (UK) $860,000*
