The Rapper's Challenge Texas Hold'em Tournament will take place on Friday, May 5, 2006, onboard a casino ship in the Port of Miami, Florida. Hosted by hip hop artist Snoop Dogg, the tournament will boast a $2 million prize pool, and is expected to draw a slew of celebrities and top poker pros from across the country. Twenty seats are currently being reserved for pro players.

Snoop Dogg will emcee the tournament, while his Uncle Reo runs the BBQ on the top deck. There will be live entertainment throughout the day with famous rappers and other hip-hop artists. In the evening, the famed Monday Night FightKlub free-style rappers will be competing live for a $25,000 prize.

To participate in the Rapper's Challenge, competitors must shell out a hefty $15,000 fee, which includes the No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournament buy-in, a ticket to the pre-event Celebrity Registration Party, a ticket to Monday Night FightKlub's performance, food from Uncle Reo's BBQ, entrance to an after party in South Beach, and VIP admission to South Beach's hottest clubs.

VIP tickets are available for those who want to watch the tournament, gamble on the boat, and join in the festivities throughout the weekend. VIP tickets are $2,000 and entitle ticket holders to attend all parties and events mentioned above.

The tournament will be filmed for a future television broadcast.
