The Small Town Poker Tour (STPT) today announced a partnership with Noble Poker aimed at creating online events to enhance the STPT. The agreement will see Noble Poker providing the platform for STPT to run online events, and will offer private satellite tournaments to STPT players.
"We are very excited about being with Noble Poker," stated Mark Fracalossi, executive producer of the STPT. "When we launched the STPT a few years ago, we began to interview online partners and, after many meetings, Noble Poker was selected."
Hailed as the world's largest amateur poker series, the STPT has launched a global search for the world's best amateur poker player. In recent months, STPT representatives have been spotted scouting locations in the United States, Australia, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
The Small Town Poker Tour will feature a cross-country search for the host nation's best amateur poker player. Filming for the debut television series is underway in the United States, with the production focusing on the tour's "small town flavor." No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournament finals are being played out in casinos while the remainder of the tour consists of back road poker playing.
All money raised by the tour will be donated to local charities. At the end of the series, all regional winners will come together in a cash and prize-filled season finale naming the Small Town Poker Champion.
