Vanessa Selbst is already the most successful female poker player of all time but there's one major poker milestone she's yet to check off her list - a WPT title.

That could change today as she charged past a massive field at WPT Borgata in Atlantic City over the last few days to make the final six.

Sitting near the chip lead for most of the last two days Selbst cruised to the final table second in chips with 7,910,000.

Cong Pham is the chip leader with 10,190,000 but all eyes are squarely on Selbst as she looks to add another amazing line to her poker résumé.

Borgata Teems with Poker Players, $825k for First

Another booming week of poker on the East Coast saw the Borgata halls filled with players looking to take a shot at WPT glory. In the end almost 1,200 buy-ins made it to the cashier to create a prize pool of $3.8m and an $825k first-place prize.

Selbst and Pham have both been at the top of the counts since Day 3 but won't have it easy to finish things out with a couple of tough pros still in the mix.

David Randall, boyfriend of WPT One to Watch Christina Lindley and a veteran online and live pro from Ohio, squeezed in to the Top 6 with 3,520,000.

Veteran tourney pros Anthony Zinno (6,935,000) and Jeremy Kottler (3,925,000) also made the final table along with Eric Fields (3,150,000). The final six and chip counts:

  • Seat 1. Eric Fields - 3,150,000 (31 bb)
  • Seat 2. Anthony Zinno - 6,935,000 (69 bb)
  • Seat 3. Vanessa Selbst - 7,910,000 (79 bb)
  • Seat 4. David Randall - 3,520,000 (35 bb)
