Noah Schwartz made no mistake in his second bid to win a WSOP bracelet in less than a week.

Schwartz overcame a massive chip deficit to beat a previously dominant Ludovic Lacay in the final heads-up match of Event 6 €3,250 Pot-Limit Omaha Mix Max Event for €104,580.

Just a few days ago Schwartz finished fourth in the Event 5 €5,300 No-Limit Hold’em Mix Max for €62,770. In addition this summer Schwartz finished second in a $1,500 WSOP PLO event, after having a significant lead heads-up.

“This is a great feeling,” said Schwartz. “It’s surreal because earlier this year I was 5-1 and lost but this time I came back from 2-1.”

Despite a long, successful career in poker that includes more than $3.6 million lifetime tournament earnings, this was Schwartz’ first WSOP bracelet.

Earlier in the day Schwartz easily cruised past Jyri Merivirta to win his first heads-up match of the day.

Lacay beat Vitaly Lunkin to secure his spot in the final heads-up match against Schwartz. Lacay would have become the third French player to win a bracelet in the 2013 WSOPE.

With the victory Schwartz got 2/3 of the way to the unofficial Triple Crown in poker, which includes EPT, WPT and WSOP titles. Schwartz has WPT and WSOP titles.

Here are the final four results from the 2013 WSOPE Event 6 €3,250 mix Max event:

  • 1st: Noah Schwartz - USA - €104,580
  • 2nd: Ludovic Lacay - France - €64,600
  • 3rd: Vitaly Lunkin – Russia - €34,500
  • 4th: Jyri Merivirta – Finland - €34,500
