Satellites to sold-out EPT Dortmund on Titan and Everest
By Erik Sylven
Dortmund, Germany, is one of the new stops on the European Poker Tour (EPT) this season. Qualifiers to the already sold out $5,000 main event are available on Titan Poker and Everest Poker.
The $5,000 main event of EPT Dortmund will be played on March 8 to 11. The tournament has been sold out, and is capped at 500 players.
Satellite sit-and-gos with buy-ins ranging from $1 to $9 are running daily at Titan Poker, and there are qualifiers with bigger buy-ins available as well.
The minor satellites lead up to qualifying finals in which seats to EPT Dortmund at Casino Hohensyburg are given away. The $300+$20 Dortmund Super Satellites will be played on Saturday February 10 and on Sunday February 25, at 8.30 p.m. (GMT).
Everest Poker will be hosting EPT Dortmund satellites starting Thursday February 8. There will be four daily $3.30 re-buy satellites, and two daily freezeout satellites that cost $12.
"The only way players can join the EPT Dortmund event at this late date is to play in an online tournament. The response to this event has been unprecedented and we're excited to be able to send some of our best players to it," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager.
