Wheels of Spin & Go fortune hit sss66666

Russian poker player sss66666 has won the first-ever $1m Spin & Go on PokerStars.

Players who enter a Spin & Go pay just the posted buy-in (in this case $5) but the jackpot wheels spin to set the prize pool.

The three players at the table this time watched the wheels land on $1.2m - the first time its ever crossed the $1m mark.

Within four hands sss66666 had lost half his stack but in less than 15 mins had won it all back and the record-breaking the SNG to add $1m to his bankroll.

The other two players each claimed $100,000. For a full recap and a follow-up interview to come, check the PokerStars blog.

If you've ever played a Sit & Go you'll have no trouble making the switch to Spin & Go's

Like cash money? Spin & Go's may be for you.

Spin & Go’s are fast-paced, 3-player Hyper-Turbo tournaments with 500 chip starting stacks.

Buy-ins range start at $1 and go up to $30 but, unlike a standard SNG the prize pool isn't determined by the buy-in.

Each tournament has a randomly drawn prize pool that pays out between two and 3,000 times your buy-in.

Each buy-in level has a maximum payout with the $30 level offering up to $90,000.

Special edition $1 Million Spin & Go’s and now currently being offered at only the $5 level, which three players took full advantage of today. More info here.
