Rousso Bubbles Big Brother, Finishes Out of the Money in Third
Vanessa Rousso may have been the most dominant player on the 17th season of reality TV show Big Brother but she’s going home with nothing but memories from the competition.
The former poker pro had the painful distinction of finishing in third place in the finale of the show last night, which was the final unpaid spot in the show.
Rousso lost the pivotal last Head of Household competition to student Steve Moses who proceeded to evict her from the house because she was too much of a threat in the final 2.
Rousso Reveals Her Success as a Poker Pro
It was a tough beat for Rousso going that far but Moses did offer a compliment as she was leaving calling her the “strongest female player in the history of the game.”
Moses went on to win the season for $500,000 while marketing consultant Liz Nolan took second place for $50,000.
Interestingly Rousso finally revealed to the cast that she was not a full-time DJ but a professional poker pro with $4.5m in winnings after she had been evicted from the house.
Rousso become the latest poker pro to try a reality show but ultimately come up a bit short. On the bright side she got quite a bit farther than Jean-Robert Bellande, Garrett Adelstein and Jim Rice did playing Survivor.
Poker pros in Europe have been a bit more successful with both Fatima De Melo and Ken Lennaárd winning competitions.
Meanwhile poker pro Anna Khait is scheduled to appear in an upcoming season of Survivor.
