Ronny Kaiser Cruises to $140k Victory

Ronnie "1-ronnyr3" Kaiser

Ronny “1-ronnyr3” Kaiser took no prisoners as he stacked his way to $140k in profit over the weekend.

The Swiss player burned through 2,669 hands on PokerStars, mostly in $100/$200 6-Max PLO, on route to his massive victory.

Kaiser faced some stiff competition as Phil “MrSweets28” Galfond, Fake Love888, Zypherin and bernard-bb were out in full force but it didn’t matter as he spent more time stacking virtual chips than losing them.

Biggest pot of the night honors also went to Kaiser when he brought down a $217k monster from Fake Love888 with pocket aces.

It’s been an up-and-down year for Kaiser as he went into a pretty big tailspin in early fall but started soaring again towards the end of November. He’s up more than $700k over the last three weeks and over $1 million this year.

Meanwhile Fake Love888, who many railbirds still have pegged as Patrik Antonius, found his rhythm this weekend winning $107k.

It’s certainly been an interesting journey for Fake Love888 as he rocketed up to nearly $500k in profit last month but has since lost a huge chunk of that sum. Right now he’s currently sitting on $172k playing online poker in 2011.

Diggidave (+$90k), 0Human0 ($89k) and L0ve2playU (+$87k) rounded out the top five winners.

On the other hand Zypherin took the brunt of 1-ronnyr3 rampage on PokerStars, losing a total of $135k.

It’s pretty much par for the course in Zypherin’s case as he’s accumulated over $1 million in losses this year and his graph looks like Splash Mountain at Disneyland.

Right behind Zypherin was famous Finn Ilari “Ilari FIN” Sahamies who got clipped for $86k last night. Sahamies is currently biggest winner on PokerStars this year with $2.3 million in profit but his grasp is somewhat tenuous as Rafi Amit is breathing down his neck with $2.1 million.

Sirens (-$75k), wilhasha (-$57k) and Randy “nanonoko” Lew (-$54k). Fortunately Lew can take the hit as he recently won $484k in the APPT Macau main event.
