Rites of spring at PKR: $85,000 and WSOP seat

It's almost Springfest time on PKR, and that means satellites to 10 big-money guaranteed tournaments and a shot at a seat in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event are underway.

Rolling for nine days from March 31-April 8, Springfest is PKR's biggest poker festival ever; $85,000 is already in the prize pool and a nice line-up of games is planned, from deep stack and short-handed No-Limit Hold'em tourneys to Pot-Limit Hold'em and Omaha events.

The double-headed carrot on the end of the stick: the $25k Springfest No-Limit Hold'em main event and a final-day, 10-player Tournament of Champions - for the eight event winners and the top two on the leaderboard - with a seat in the WSOP Main Event on the line.

Between now and then there are a ton of ways, and a ton of games, to play.

Low buy-ins and satellite tournaments for all the events are rolling at PKR, starting as low as $1.10. Satellite tournaments for the $25k main event also started this weekend with a daily slate of sit-and-go and multi-table qualifiers planned from as low as $1.19.

Alternately, direct buy-in for the $25k main event is $100.
