The event, which drew 650 guests, raised $412,000 for the Children's National Medical Center, yielding a grand total of more than $800,000 for the Center from the Monte Carlo Night in just two years.

The event was organized in Washington D.C. by Washington Property Company, The JBG Companies and Bernstein Management Corporation.

"We are so grateful to the real estate community for this amazing generosity. We are already looking forward to next year when we will certainly top the $1 million mark," said Charles K. Nulsen III, president of Washington Property Company, who served as event co-chair along with Robert A. Stewart, Managing Partner of The JBG Companies and Joshua B. Bernstein, President of Bernstein Management Corp.

Along with the Texas Hold'em tournament in which 2006 Rhett Butler played, guests enjoyed a silent auction, casino-style games and live music provided by Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes.

Thanks to help from sponsors, 100% of the donations and funds raised at the event benefit the Children's Hospital.

The event supports the capital improvement program to modernize the facilities at Children's Hospital and help further its mission of delivering world-class care to sick children regardless of their ability to pay for services.

The money raised has created the OR Advanced Technology Fund to equip new operating suites with state-of-the-art technology.
