Everest Poker saw a record turnout for the Spanish Poker Tour this week, drawing 202 players to Castellón.

Top European talent including SPT Ibiza Champion Javier Martínez Gil and Team Everest pro Antoine Saout were among those who battled it out for a piece of a  €190,000 prize pool.

In the end, the 2010 SPT Castellón title and €63,000 first-place prize went to France's Julien Pouchain, who qualified online at Everest Poker.

The final table included three other Everest Poker qualifiers.

The next stop in the SPT third season is in Valencia Oct. 1-3, 2010, traditionally one of SPT's most popular stops and expected to have an even larger prize pool.

SPT Valencia will feature live streaming coverage with commentary in both English and Spanish.

Like every SPT stop, there is a guaranteed prize pool of €150,000.

Online qualifiers are running now, with daily satellites and three weekly Direct Entries starting at $30.

Players can also buy in to any SPT event using Summit Points or their Everest account.
