Just seven players remain with a shot at the 2015 Aussie Millions main event title led by James Rann.

The British poker pro stacked up 4,085,000 to end Day 4 in Melbourne with pole position for the $1.6m AUD first-place prize.

He'll have to wait a day to go for it, though, as players will take a day off to let the $100k Challenge final table play out.

He'll also have a couple of very tough outs to contend with on the final table in Richard Lyndaker and Brian Rast.

Play Resumes Sunday, Rast the Short Stack

When the final table picks up again on Sunday at 12:15 pm local time Rann will have a slight edge on his closest competitors.

Joel Douaglin, Lennart Uphoff and Anthony Legg all bagged up over 3m in chips to stay right on Rann's heels.

Their toughest competition might be from the short stacks, however, as Rast and Lyndaker held on through rocky Day 4s to make the final seven.

Brian Rast
Rast: Down but not out.

Lyndaker, a feared online pro under the nickname "nutsinho," will bring back 1.2m chips while Rast has just less with 1,185,000.

Manny Stavropoulos rounds out the final seven with 2,115,000. Reigning champ Ami Barer just missed a repeat visit to the final table busting in 11th. Phil Ivey fell in 23rd.
