The Global Poker Week begins its sixth week of action today with the debut of multi-talented pro Brian Rast and the return of heavyweight contenders Jason Mercier, Fedor Holz, Sam Trickett and more.

Rast brings over $16m in lifetime live tournament earnings to the Berlin Bears including a $7.5 million win in the Aria Super High Roller Bowl last summer.

Meanwhile Mercier has already been one of the most interesting players to watch at the GPL with his highlight reel match against Phil Galfond. This week marks his debut in the 6-Max portion of the league.

Wolverines Look to Overthrow Aviators

Here’s a complete look at the line-up for today’s 6-Max games, which begin at 12 p.m. ET:

Brian Rast 3

Eurasia 6-Max

Sam Trickett
Max Pescatori (Late replacement)
Brian Rast
Fabrice Soulier
Anatoly Filatov
Celina Lin

Americas 6-Max

Jason Mercier
Fedor Holz
Jonathan Jaffe
Scott Ball
Martin Jacobson
Joao Bauer

The Eurasia line-up will remain unchanged for both 6-Max matches as will the Americas conference except for LV Moneymaker Scott Ball being swapped out for Jonathan Duhamel in the second match.

Update: Mustapha Kanit missed his first 6-Max match because of car troubles but he's likely to draw in for the second one.

The Americans conference is currently a dog fight with only nine points separating five teams so it’s still anybody’s game.

Meanwhile in the Eurasia conference the Paris Aviators and Moscow Wolverines seem to be on a collision course.

You can watch all the matches on GPL.tv.
