Israeli poker pro Rafi Amit emerged from a post-2011 hiatus with a massive 1,000+ hand, $202,178 winning session yesterday.

Amit was one of the biggest winners in 2011 with a total of $2.1 million in profit on PokerStars.

The PLO specialist had been quiet in 2012, however, and was only up $35k heading into this weekend.

That all changed yesterday when he straight up owned the $100/$200 6-Max PLO games that also involved Benny “toweliestar” Spindler, mTw-DaviN and 1-ronnyr3.

In 1,169 hands Amit smashed his way to a $202k profit. The win boosts his profit on the year up to $237k and he’s suddenly a member of the top 20 biggest winners club.

Some of the other notable winners on PokerStars this weekend included Jens “Jeans89” Kyllonen who stacked his way to $55k in profit and Ilari “Ilari FIN” Sahamies

Interestingly the high stakes games on PartyPoker were firing and Kyllonen, who plays on PartyPoker as Jeanss89, actually won more on that site with $71k in profit.

Noted online grinder Mattinator also won $43k while Dart Vader_ was the biggest overall loser of the evening when he dropped $152k on PartyPoker.

Davin “mTw-DaviN” Georgi (-$139k), 1-ronnyr3 (-$138k) and ZeeJustin (-$125k) were the biggest losers on PokerStars.

The high stakes games had a different complexion over the weekend, as Viktor “Isildur1” Blom was MIA.

Blom has been driving the action over the last couple weeks but apparently decided to skip this weekend.
