Quadruple Titan Poker success for Dutchman

The Spoils of War

By Erik Sylven

Dutch player Jelte Kruijer has scored four big wins at Titan Poker over the last few months. His total winnings amount to over $40,000.

It all started in May, when Kruijer won a $14,000 seat to the 2007 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event in Las Vegas through a satellite at Titan Poker.

The 39-year-old Dutchman has also won an $8,000 prize package to the World Poker Showdown (WPS) in Costa Rica and finished first in Titan Poker's $100K and $50K guaranteed tournaments.

Kruijer will soon be going to Costa Rica to play in the WPS. He will be joined by two other Titan Poker qualifiers.

"I have more money now for Costa Rica. I am very happy and thankful to Titan Poker for having such great promotions," said Kruijer.

After Las Vegas and Costa Rica, Kruijer has his sights set on a trip to the Bahamas Poker Open, which will be held at the Cable Beach Resort in January 2008.

Titan Poker is holding a series of satellites for this event, awarding winners a $7,000 all-expenses-paid trip to the Bahamas Poker Open.
