Put your money on the Phils, says Paddy Power

Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth's getting 33-1 to final table at the Main Event.

Currently, the Poker Brat is sitting at 33-1, trailed by the likes of Andy Black (80-1) and Hollywood buddies Matt Damon and Ben Affleck at (250-1). Last year's champion, Jamie Gold, is doing a little better at 100-1.

Final-table wagering is just one of Paddy Power Poker's 19 new betting markets for the 2007 WSOP. A dozen of them are related to the Main Event, while others are for other significant tournaments or to make it to the money.

For example, Phil Ivey is favored to take down the H.O.R.S.E. championship this year at 20-1. Barry Greenstein is coming up behind 33-1 to one, while the Mad Genius Mike Caro is getting 125-1 for the prestigious $50,000 tournament.

The $10,000 Omaha is also drawing bettors, and those looking for the best odds are apt to put their money on Irishman Andy Black or multi-bracelet winner Erik Seidel, both of whom are getting 50-1. Dan Harrington sits at 66-1 in the event, while Mel Judah is pegged at 100-1.

And for those with patriotic allegiances, Paddy Power is offering markets for top Brit, top Scandinavian, top German and top Irishman for the Main Event.
