PUPAA wins short-handed ECOOP event
The European Championship of Online Poker III continued on Tuesday night with a Six-Max No-Limit Hold'em event. PUPAA proved his short-handed playing skills and turned up a win in this second event in the series.
Event 2 of the ECOOP drew 533 players willing to put up the $200+$15 buy-in for a shot at the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. The flood of players managed to boost the prize pool to $106,600, making the ECOOP two for two in besting its guaranteed prize pools.
The ECOOP III is playing on the iPoker Network which means that poker players from around the world on sites such as Titan Poker, CD Poker and Mansion Poker are going head-to-head in the events.
This time around 80 of those players got paid off, with the lowest cash being $266.50. The biggest payout, taken home by PUPAA, was $24,518.

The ECOOP continues today with a $100+$9 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo event. It has a $100,000 guarantee as well. There will also be Seven-Card Stud and Omaha events mixed in over the next several days as the ECOOP marches on to the main event taking place Dec. 7.
The main event will have a $1,000+$60 buy-in to play some Texas Hold'em for a $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool.
