The pros seem to be doing better and better with each Full Tilt Online Poker Series V event. Now one has made it to the final table of an event as well.

Max Pescatori made it to fourth place in the Seven-Card Stud $100,000 guaranteed event Thursday. The $200+$16 buy-in brought out 597 players to try a shot at what was eventually a $119,400 prize pool.

Pescatori took home $6,925.20 for his efforts, which brings him to two cashes so far this series.

Plus, just a day after John D'Agostino was lauded as the event host who went deeper in his own event than previous hosts had, his record is broken. Keith Sexton hosted this FTOPS V event and made it all the way to 24th place compared to D'Agostino's 30th-place finish in Event 9.

This event also saw a previous event champion coming back to make another final table. Event 4 champion bmqball finished just behind Pescatori in fifth place, taking home $4,298 to add to the more than $66,000 he had already won.

Of course, the big winner was lileor99, who took home $29,850 for the win after making a full house of 4d-4s-9s-9h-4h on fifth street, while his heads-up opponent bluff27allin had a pair of queens after fourth street and was chasing a flush draw and gut-shot straight draw after sixth street.

The final-table results were as follows:

Place Name Prize
1st lileor99 $29,850
2nd bluff27allin $19,701
3rd wildcatsfan69 $11,940
4th Max Pescatori $6,925
5th bmqball $4,298
6th ema_aa88 $3,223
7th POP-it-UP $2,328
8th KCRobWW $1,731

Today's event will be the $200+$16 Limit Hold'em six-max event with a $200,000 guaranteed hosted by Greg Mueller. The Canadian pro is a Limit Hold'em specialist who cashed in five events at the World Series of Poker this year, two of which were final-table finishes.

This weekend the series will wrap up with two events on Saturday and the main event Sunday. Phil Ivey will be coming out to host the $2,500+$120 No-Limit Hold'em event Saturday with a $600,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Ivey's event will be a two-day one, starting at 3 p.m. (EDT) on Saturday and ending the day at the 15th level or when the field is down to two tables. It will then resume on Sunday at 3 p.m. to play down to the champion.

Max Pescatori may be looking to set a new record for hosts cashing in their own events on Saturday as well with his $100+$9 Pot-Limit Omaha with re-buys event with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The event online players have been waiting for, however, is the $2 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em event on Sunday, hosted by Paul Wasicka. With a relatively low buy-in of $500+$35 for a shot at the large guaranteed prize pool, you can bet there will be hundreds of players showing up to give Wasicka a run for his money.
