Portugal well-represented in Ladbrokes freeroll

The Prize Money

One of the perks of being a PokerListings player at Ladbrokes Poker is that earning points can get you into a $5,000 exclusive freeroll every month. Andre Andrade took full advantage of that mechanism to pick up a freeroll win in May.

Andrade, from Maia, Portugal, has been playing poker for about a year and a half. He said he plays almost every day for about three or four hours a day.

At 23 years old, Andrade has the time to hit the online poker tables while he continues his education as a full-time student, and he chooses to spend much of that time at Ladbrokes Poker.

He visits the poker site almost every day.

"It's a great online poker room, although there aren't many players on STT, or at least in the jackpot ones that I usually play," Andrade said.

He must have got enough action to rack up 100 player points in April, however, in order to be a part of the $5,000 freeroll in May for PokerListings players.

The freerolls require players to have signed up at Ladbrokes Poker through any of the links on the PokerListings.com site, and then to earn 100 player points during the month before the scheduled freeroll.

For example, players who earned 100 points from May 1-31 will be invited to play in the June 21 freeroll at the poker site.

This is just one of the many benefits PokerListings players can enjoy at Ladbrokes Poker. These kinds of promotions keep Andrade, who plays as Zebalhao at Ladbrokes Poker, coming back to PokerListings on an almost-daily basis to see what other benefits he can get in on.

On Saturday, Ladbrokes will be hosting a World Series of Poker* satellite exclusively for PokerListings players as well.

Players who earn 1,000 points between March 1 and June 5 will be invited to play in the June 7 tournament, and players who earn 2,000 points from March 1 to June 12 will also be invited to play in a WSOP satellite on June 14.

Both tournaments will offer up $27,500 in prizes, which includes two $12,500 WSOP packages per tournament and $2,500 in cash to spread to third place on down.
