PokerStars.com to release Moneymaker medallion

PokerStars.com is set to produce a limited edition series of six silver medallions honoring exceptional poker players this year, the first of which is dedicated to PokerStars.com-sponsored player and 2003 WSOP champion Chris Moneymaker.

Two thousand of each coin will be cast bearing the image of the featured poker star along with a randomly assigned number. Players cannot purchase the collectable coins with cash but can use Frequent Player Points (FPP) to obtain them. FPP's can be earned by playing for real money online at PokerStars.com.

The 99.9% pure silver medallions will be available exclusively online at PokerStars.com's FPP store and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Interested buyers should contact PokerStars.com regarding upcoming releases and obtaining entire collections.
