PokerStars Reveals ‘We Are Poker’ TV Ads

PokerStars launched a sneak peek of its new global ad campaign today with two impressive TV ads using “We Are Poker” as its centerpiece slogan.

Announced via Twitter, the slick, high-end, minute-long ads feature cameos from PokerStars pros Daniel Negreanu, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Liv Boeree, Vanessa Rousso and Jose “Nacho” Barbero.

Also making cameos in the visually stunning ads: a wolf, a rattlesnake, a bull, some wild horses and a man with a bubble around his head, among others.

One ad is called East vs. West and features Negreanu against an opponent heads-up in a crowded warehouse with the voiceover:

“We are competition. Aggression. Calculating. We are trapped. Fighting back. We are heros. We are poker."

The other, titled Nacho vs. Brazil, shows a heads-up match between Barbero and an opponent on a table under a basketball hoop with the voiceover:

“We are 10,000 people in Brazil, holding our breath.

"We are alone. Hunters. Hunted. We are committed. Blessed. Calm. We are all in. We are poker."

The ads are only available online as of today.
