PokerStars reloads Blogger Championship

One lucky blogger will win a trip to the long-lost city of Atlantis, or at least to a hotel in the Caribbean.

Attention bloggers: PokerStars.com wants to give you a crack at over $30,000 in prizes for taking part in the 2008 edition of the World Blogger Championship of Online Poker.

Bloggers from around the world will come together for the 2008 WBCOOP and for the first time ever PokerStars will be offering a total of six qualifying events, with Pot-Limit Omaha, 8-Game Mix, Omaha Hi-Lo and of course No-Limit Hold'em all on the agenda.

It all culminates with the WBCOOP Final on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 15:00 ET, with very lucrative prizes up for grabs. First place will be a PokerStars Caribbean Adventure package worth $14,300.

Also available are two European Poker Tour packages, two Spring Championship of Online Poker Main Event tickets and numerous Steps tickets to live events.

In addition there are numerous prizes, including Sunday Millions tickets, to be won in the qualifying stages of the WBCOOP.

All that's required to play in the WBCOOP, which is entirely free for bloggers, is that you have an eligible blog that has been online for at least two months and updates on a regular basis.

PokerStars is hoping to build off the success they achieved last year when 1,300 players entered the 2007 WBCOOP. Portugal's LParreira walked away the big winner - taking first place and a PokerStars Caribbean Adventure seat worth $12,000.
