PokerStars Re-Works Multi-Table Tournament Schedule

PokerStars is streamlining its multi-table tournament schedule and will now offer three “major” tournaments every single day.

The major tournaments will take place every day at 05:00, 14:00 and 19:00 ET so that players from all time zones will get a crack at some serious money.

Even if your bankroll isn’t up to the major tournaments you can still play “micro” versions of the same events for 1/100th the buy-in.

PokerStars Also Adds Hourly Events

Beyond the three daily majors, PokerStars has also added a more pronounced hourly schedule with at least one Big, Hot, Bounty Builder or Omania tournament taking place every hour.

All the major tournaments are now easier to identify as well with Majors bolded blue and daily recurring tournaments bolded red. The rest of the tournaments will be labelled with black.

PokerStars will also be changing the start time of its flagship Sunday Million tournament to 14:30 ET from 14:000 ET so that more people can play.

The Sunday Storm will also shift to 13:30 ET. PokerStars also has plans to ramp up the number of tournaments that run on Sundays.

For now these changes are just for the global PokerStars markets, not the restricted ones like in New Jersey.
