The European Poker Tour will be kicking off its fifth season next month with the Barcelona Open, and to help close out Season 4, PokerStars has launched the first European Poker Tour Awards.

The awards will be held on the eve of the EPT opening event in Barcelona with a ceremony that will honor the best players from the entire EPT Season 4. PokerStars pro Daniel Negreanu will host the ceremony alongside Gloria Balding.

The EPT Awards will give out awards in seven categories. Five of those categories will be decided by a panel of judges, but two will be selected by a vote.
