PokerStars doubles up on promotions in July

Double your pleasure, double your fun at PokerStars this month with their PokerStars 2X promotion.

Throughout the entire month of July, PokerStars plans to double just about everything on the site, from double VPPs to double the chances to win and even double the size of the pot in cash games.

To kick off the promotion, the poker site is offering players double VPPs in all of PokerStars' cash games and sit-and-go tournaments (except heads-up tournaments) through July 6.

Double the VPPs means moving up the VIP Club ladder just that much faster without having to change the games or stakes you would normally play.

Players who make their first-ever deposit at the poker site from July 1-30 using the code FIRST2x when they make the deposit will also gain entry into the poker site's special 2X First Depositor Freerolls.

There are two $2,222 freerolls running every day from July 8-30 at 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. ET. Players who cash in the freerolls will also gain entry to the $22,222 grand final on July 31.

In addition to the freeroll entry, players making their first deposits on PokerStars will also receive a deposit bonus.

The freeroll and bonus is only open to PokerStars players who have not yet made their first real-money deposit.

A third offer up for grabs during the 2X promotion is that PokerStars is running daily 2X multi-table tournaments that give players a chance to make one rebuy if they're eliminated. Buy-ins start at $2.22 and each tournament begins at 22 minutes past the hour.

PokerStars will have even more perks for players throughout the month for the 2X promotion, but poker players will need to check in at the poker site to keep up with what's being offered.
