PokerPlex.com uses CryptoLogic's platform with a shared player base. The games are among the loosest today, so if you are looking for soft games, this is a good place to go. The network and player base grew at a very high rate in 2004 and 2005 but took a dive with the U.S. player ban last year. Nonetheless, it is still among the top 10 in the world.
The software has good functionality, and the lobby got a well-deserved makeover in 2006 that gave it a more useable, cleaner look. The monthly re-load bonus of $200 is awarded after a set amount of player points are earned. For release, the bonus required 1000 points to be earned, which typically takes about 25 hours at a single table. There is also an open proposition player program where you are paid to start up new games or play in short-handed games. Real-money player statistics in February 2007 show 2,000-2,700 ring game players at peak hours and 7,000-10,000 tournament players at peak hours.
