PokerListings players race for cash at PokerRoom

PokerRoom is hosting a U.K. Race Trophy freeroll exclusively for PokerListings.com players who have registered and made a deposit at PokerRoom in 2008.

The freeroll will take place June 10 at 10 p.m. EST with the winner earning a seat in the U.K. Race semifinal plus an all-expenses-paid trip to the World Touring Car Championship on July 26 in the United Kingdom.

PokerRoom is also sweetening the freeroll by adding a $1,000 prize pool to be split between second- through 10th-place finishers.

To be eligible, players must have registered at PokerRoom through a PokerListings.com link between Jan. 1, 2008, and June 26, 2008.

What does getting into the U.K. Race semifinal mean for poker players? It's a chance to win one of the six seats up for grabs in the Race Trophy final.

The semifinal will take place live in the U.K. and the winner will of that will then be transported to Austria in November for the Race Trophy Final, where a guaranteed $500,000 prize pool is up for grabs.

The winner of the final will take home $285,000, with the sixth-place finisher getting $10,000.

That's not all PokerRoom has to offer PokerListings.com players either.
