PokerListings offering Aussie Millions package

There's something about the Aussie Millions that sets it apart from all other poker tournaments.

It could be the enormous prize pool, the exotic location or the fact it isn't attached to a major poker tour, but most players seem to agree the Aussie Millions stands alone in the poker world.

PartyPoker players who registered through PokerListings.com will now have a chance to experience the tournament for themselves this January, thanks to an exclusive tournament set for Nov. 28, 2009.

The tournament will be limited to just 30 players with one of them walking away with a $15,000 Aussie Millions package that includes airfare, accommodations and the $10,000 AUD main event buy-in.

PokerListings players will have two chances to qualify for the Aussie Millions giveaway.

The first will take place Nov. 7 at 20:00 GMT while the second kicks off Nov. 14 also at 20:00 GMT. Both events will cost $22 to enter and the final 15 in each will qualify for the Nov. 28 final.

The Aussie Millions takes place at the prestigious Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia. It is the biggest poker tournament in the Southern Hemisphere. Last year Sydney resident Stewart Scott outlasted 681 players to win $2 million AUD.

Previous winners of the event include poker pros Alexander Kostritsyn, Gus Hansen and Lee "Final Table" Nelson.
