Poker.com celebrates first birthday with $50,000, one year of cake

Poker.com has announced a one year anniversary tournament that will pay out $50,000 and a year's supply of cake to the winner. The 1st Birthday Tournament is slated to take place on Saturday, May 20, 2006, and is open to both new and old Poker.com players.

Interested players can qualify in several ways:

1. Be ranked amongst the top players born in your birth month. For example, if you are born in July you are competing against others born in July to earn a tournament entry by accruing points for poker play.
2. Play in cash games. The Poker.com staff will be visiting the cash tables at all hours of the day to randomly give 1st Birthday Tournament entries as gifts to Poker.com players.
3. All players that make a deposit into their Poker.com account using NETeller, Click2Pay, or Citadel ACH could be selected to win an entry to the 1st Birthday Tournament.
