PokerStars is giving its players the chance to win their way to the Bahamas for just $5.50 this weekend, all in the name of a good cause.

The top two players in a $5.50 satellite, set for this Sunday Dec. 13 at 4 p.m. ET, will win a flight to the Bahamas, four night’s hotel accommodation at the Atlantis Resort & Casino on Paradise Island and the $5,000 buy-in for the Jan. 8 amfAR & PokerStars Charity Poker Tournament at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.

A number of high profile charity celebrities, sports stars and poker pros are expected to take part and half the entire prize pool for the event will go to amfAR to support the organization’s research and help raise HIV/AIDS awareness.

Already confirmed are former National Hockey League great Mats Sundin, tennis legend Boris Becker and Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu.

Registration for the satellite, capped at 2,000 players, is on a first come, first serve basis and is already underway.
