Leaf Playing Cards has announced the upcoming release of its 2011 set of poker player trading cards with a couple of new twists.

While the set will have the usual big-name players like Daniel Negreanu and Phill Hellmuth, it will also include a subset of signed celebrity poker cards featuring Jose Canseco, Brad Garrett, Lou Diamond Phillips, Jason Alexander and Orel Hershiser.

Also included in the packs will be nine “clover cards,” which will award the chance to play in a nine-handed online poker tournament where the winner will actually receive an authentic 2006 World Series of Poker gold bracelet.

Exactly whose WSOP bracelet it is it doesn’t specify.

Several players have notably sold their WSOP bracelets on eBay over the last few years including Peter Eastgate, who sold his 2008 WSOP Main Event championship bracelet for $147,500 to benefit UNICEF, and T.J. Cloutier, whose 2005 WSOP bracelet went for $4,006 to Cake Poker.

Forty-five players won WSOP bracelets in 2006 including Rafe Furst, Dutch Boyd, Phil Hellmuth, Mark Vos, Jeff Madsen, Ralph Perry, Jason Lester and Jamie Gold.

Among the other players who will have signed feature cards along with Hellmuth and Negreanu are Jason Mercier, Tom Dwan, Johnny Chan, Annie Duke, Greg Raymer, Jonathan Duhamel and Annette Obrestad.

Some of the more unexpected players included in the set (which is the same as the 2010 Razor set) are Tiffany Michelle, Cindy Margolis, Bill Edler and Isabelle Mercier.

Each box of cards will have only one single pack and each pack will have five cards. All of the high-end trading cards will be autographed by the players.

The release date is October 15, 2011.

Additional inserts include:

* Stacked Deck Autographs - each featuring unique cards/suits from the deck
* Pocket Pair Dual Autographs - featuring multiple Poker Superstar Signatures on a single card
* Classic Nicknames featuring players who have memorable nicknames.
* Final Table Signatures - signed pieces of felt from actual poker tables.
